My art feels like home.
What is home to me?
Home is a safe space, a place that is warm and cozy. A place where I can be myself and feel completely safe.
It’s a space where peace and tranquility predominate. Where magic can live freely and creativity has no limit. A place filled with colors, earth elements, and the essential beings that take care of her.
It’s like laying down on the most fluffy, soft blanket you have ever laid into, that covers you and hugs you. It feels like getting into the warm water of a calm ocean, that comforts and swings you gently back and forth or getting your feet in the sand in the afternoon, when it’s still warm, but not hot with the company of a thousand colors that paint the sky during sunset.
It tastes like candy, like fruit and caramel, they are sweet, like a dessert but for the home, for the soul. To give that kick to life, and make it feel less heavy, lighter, bearable, and funnier.
Is a door to freedom.
When I'm painting, planning, and creating, that is what I feel, freedom, that nothing else is happening around me.
My art is not meant to be serious, but more playful, organic, with movement, and always with colors that catch the attention.
Always esthetic, sometimes elegant, it wants to let the imagination go, for you to make a little tiny version of yourself and be able to run through its parts and little universes, to enjoy it.
It searches to illuminate and give warmth and joy to the soul, to awaken the playful side while appreciating what nature gives to us.
Each one is in constant change while being in the creation process, I may have planned a piece to go in a direction and it ends up being completely something else, it’s a game where there are no losers, just experiences.
Although my pieces are solid, the material and shapes make them seem fluid, with movement, changing depending on where you look at them, holding many different perspectives
They always have an amount of complexity, almost like layers that as you view it and experience it, you can discover a new part, a new personality, some are more fun than others, which is also a part of who I am as a person. Extremely organized and goal-oriented but also likes to be goofy and have fun, it doesn’t like to be in a box or be told what to do. It can be very strong, but rather be on my softer side. It’s a duality.
My pieces are full of vibrant energy, they come from the sun, bright, wanted to be seen, to be felt, its energy is warm and it wants and searches to harmonise, to give good energy, and make a room more bright.
That unique piece that was made exclusively for a specific space, carries an amount of my light, my energy, my being, my home.
